Got this a long time ago but by far it is my all time favorite Hello Kitty item.  It looks far more expensive than it really is and it glitters like it is real.  I love cameos, always have since I was little and getting one would cost a lot of money so since I can't afford a real one I decided to get a HK one instead that's half the price, if not way cheaper.

People think it's cute to dress up their pets but to me it's a horrible thing to do and torture for the animal.  Just look at their faces most of the time.  This is what I'm talking about:

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE HK but I would never put anything on my cat to have her dressed up in it.  I think it's rather cruel thing to do but hey that's just me.  I've put dolls on top of my cat but I would never dress her up.  However my cat doesn't like it when I use to put her in a harness so never mind putting her in anything that she would or could wear.

Was doing a search online, like I usually do from time to time and I happen across this image which I'm sure it's been doctored but it's funny none the less.

The other day while we were out at Rite Aid, looking for a few needed items I found something that I was pleasantly surprised and pleased to find:

Isn't she cute?  It doesn't have chocolate like I was hoping :( but she does have candy inside.  I plan to send a few to my penpals, as well as he will like it too.  He'll bitch about how he thinks she's a "waste of money & a rip off" but sure as hell you'll see him eating something of her or using something of her.  Men!

It wasn't expensive at all, just about $5 so if you have a Rite Aid in your area you might want to pick one up for yourself.

I've been collecting hello kitty & related Sanrio items since I was very young.  But since Hello Kitty was very rare where I lived growing up, I had to put that addiction to rest for awhile.  I tried and tried to find stuff but there wasn't much.

At this time, I didn't have much money and I wasn't online (nor was I old enough to be or even to have a credit card) so I couldn't find her as much as I've been able to find her now.  Hello Kitty has only gotten more and more popular since I've gotten older.

Near where I lived, there used to be a Sanrio store there for the longest time and then it turned into the Learning Express which later closed due no one going there.  It was in a terrible location which is rather stupid if you ask me to put it where it was but whatever.

Since it closed, I had been looking more hello kitty items but it was very hard.  Now adays, you can go into Target, Walmart, Rite Aid or pretty much any place and see at least 1 or 2 things that are HK/Sanrio related.  I prefer finding things at Target in the $1 section, it's awesome when you find something in there it's like a treasure.

However, I'm like those all girls that want all those shiny, expensive, materialistic jewelry wanting girls or those girls that want those expensive HK jewelry.  No I don't like jewelry much in less it's the "kiddie" stuff that I've seen around.  Not saying that I hate those girls, no I don't but I just don't want to be like them.  I prefer the simpler things in life instead of wanting all that stuff.  I'm a huge dollar store person so going there is my pleasure in life.

That's why finding HK in Target in the $1 section is so much better for me.  I do like going to Sanrio stores but not the chains as much. Why do you ask that?  Well they don't have good deals like the smaller stores that sell her.  It's rather a huge disappointment to me to go there and not get much of anything for deals.  I prefer Target, you can always get better prices there for HK stuff too.  However, I'm not saying that I hate Sanrio stores just wish that they would come down on their prices more that way little girls who they're main target audience is would be able to afford more cute and adorable things.

Please don't think that I'm dashing HK because I'm not.  I adore just as much as the next girl or even more than they do.  I have a huge collection that one day I hope to display in my room of only her.  I do like a few other characters but I really like HK the most.

Well I hope that you enjoyed this & my little introduction.  I will document my HK searching for you from time to time.

Take care all.
